He was born in Epsom, Surrey on November 15, 1963 soon did his family know he would be one of the greatest Tennis players to walk Great Britain. He won the UK national championship for 12-U and then went pro in 1986. He was ranked number one in England and lost in the U.S. Open in the third round in 1987 and was a finalist in the 1987 Australian open. He represented the UK in the Olympics of Seoul Olympic Games in 1998 and in 1992 for the Barcelona Olympic Games. He finished with an overall record in doubles and single with three victories in the finals and four runner-up titles.
